Introduction
OPPOSITE means a person or things that is totally different from or the reverse of someone or something else. It means situated, placed, or lying face to face with something else or each other, or in corresponding positions with relation to an intervening line, space.The term antonym and the related antonymy is commonly taken to be synonymous with opposite, but antonym also has other more restricted meanings. Some antonyms are word pairs where the opposite makes sense only in the context of the relationship between the two meanings. Things in life are not like movies where there must be a superhero and super villain. The opposite of beautiful doesn’t aways mean ugly. It may be beautiful as well. People who look happy everyday could be crying at night when no body is around. A negative person may also have a positive side.
