Walmart has the most market share in Prepaid Wireless across stores and Walmart.com. Yet we never get chance to introduce Postpaid Wireless to our customers, we are losing $200M per year since we does not provide postpaid wireless.
The goal is to build a comprehensive and easy to navigate prepaid and postpaid wireless experience for Walmart customers, both online and in stores.
My responsibility was to collaborate with another team to build E2E experience. I was mainly focusing on Cart & Checkout piece.

Based on Living Design pattern, here is the color palette which has been used in this project.
Designs start with padding divisible by 8px.
Exceptions that start with padding divisible by 4px should be done strictly out of a designer’s necessity.
On phase 1, we started with allow customer to upgrading their exisitng line.
On phase 2, we are providing the feature that allow customer to delivery wireless item to store so they can pick up there.
1. Add a global message to remind customer the restriction on fulfillment option due to systerm will get customer’s address/zip code from their carrier account.
2. Removed wireless item payment plan.
3. Add agreement step into checkout flow due to legal reason.
What you will see here is design variants of the Protection plan module.
Agreement step is a very important and brand new step for postpaid wireless project, due to legal reason customer will need to sign the agreement before they can place the order.
1. Removed checkbox due to ADA red flag.
2. Instead of going to review page, changed main CTA to open a review model so we will able to avoid error use case happens - customer might click review order without signing agreement.
On phase 3, we are exciting about brining new feature to customer which is allow customer to add new line. Along with some visual updates
1. Added carrier information, provides more monthly payment information and calling out the activation fee to customer.
Here are some other componets used in this project.
